Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
