Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Franklin County, Vermont. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 6+ years on the tools preferred.
