Safety marshal — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety marshal in Carroll County, Georgia. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Day-to-day duties: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Full-time with occasional weekends.
