Gantry crane operator • Crawford County, Missouri

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Crawford County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
