Final inspection operator — Kankakee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems On the job you will handle: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
