Vacancy available: crawler crane operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Rotating shifts. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
