Great opportunity: we are hiring a joiner in Sac County, Iowa. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height The role involves finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge.
