Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Snohomish County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Snohomish County, Washington. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
