Immediate opening: sheet metal welder (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Mitchell County, North Carolina. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
