Butcher wanted in Uyo

Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
