Great opportunity: structural MIG welder (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Upshur County, West Virginia. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
