Concrete placer • Kemper County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kemper County, Mississippi. The job is on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Full-time, day shift.
