Fabricator-welder — Marion County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Marion County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
