Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Pickens County, Georgia. The job is on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Full-time, day shift.
