Great opportunity: aluminium TIG welder (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Saint Francois County, Missouri. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
