Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain You will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; refuel the machine and record running hours; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
