Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Montgomery County, Kentucky. The job is at an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Day-to-day duties: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
