Fusing press operator — Bleckley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Bleckley County, Georgia. The role involves give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Part-time with flexible hours.
