Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Fallon County, Montana. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
