Falsework carpenter • Oscoda County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Oscoda County, Michigan. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 2+ years on the tools preferred.
