Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Knott County, Kentucky. Your main tasks: • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Rotating shifts.
