Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Plumas County, California. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
