Commis chef wanted in Houston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commis chef in Houston County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
