Stitching operator — Sargent County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Sargent County, North Dakota. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 3+ years on the tools preferred.
