Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and heat pump technician in City of Covington, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls • Hand over the system to the customer and explain the controls • Commission the system and set flow temperatures and weather compensation curve • Mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base • Install and set up the hot water cylinder and immersion backup You should have: • Own set of refrigerant tools: gauges, vacuum pump, scales • Competent brazing copper pipework and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
