Estate gardener — Pitt County

Join our team: we are hiring an estate gardener in Pitt County, North Carolina. Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
