Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
