Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
