The role involves set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; insulate and ventilate the roof void; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Rotating shifts. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
