Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Baltimore County, Maryland. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Full-time with occasional weekends.
