Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in Mercer County, Illinois. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
