Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Kiowa County, Oklahoma. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch.
