Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Faulkner County, Arkansas. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
