Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turner in Appanoose County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed We offer $120 per day plus benefits.
