Oven operator — Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Columbia County, Washington. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day-to-day duties: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel 5+ years on the tools preferred.
