Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Alexander County, Illinois. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Part-time with flexible hours.
