Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile installer in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is on a residential construction site. On a typical shift you will cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
