Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Davis County, Utah. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Six days a week, one day off.
