Foundry worker — Gallatin County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gallatin County, Montana. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours.
