Hydraulic crane operator — Obubra

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Obubra, Cross River State. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
