Control panel electrician wanted in Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Lee County, Alabama. You will be based in a power distribution substation. The role involves: • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands Ideal candidate: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs Six days a week, one day off.
