Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Sherburne County, Minnesota. Day to day you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours.
