Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Nelson County, Kentucky. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
