Immediate opening: gas service engineer (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Cherokee County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray.
