Immediate opening: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Nemaha County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods On a typical shift you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
