Bulldozer operator • Appomattox County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Appomattox County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Six days a week, one day off.
