Excavator operator wanted in Charles City County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Charles City County, Virginia. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. Day to day you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 4+ years on the tools preferred.
