Vacancy available: steel fixer (Pennsylvania)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
