Immediate opening: we are hiring a building site helper in Bell County, Kentucky. You will work on a metro and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
