We are recruiting: glass fitter (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Beaufort County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units The role involves: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
